If you are going to Shaver Lake or staying/camping anywhere near the Sierra National Forest, look no further, you need to book the Toll house Cottage. The Cottage is perfect, it's clean, has plenty of parking, and is right next to a Family restaurant and Market! I stayed here for a quick snowboarding trip with my son and a few friends who just turned 18\. The floor plan was spacious and perfect for what I was looking for as a quick stopping point between snow days. Even though it was an hour to and from China Peak it was worth it to have a quiet place to cook and sleep. Not to mention the host was great! Very communicative and responded right away.
