I speak some japanese and that helps. The staff were kind and the rooms had nice amenities. Though I did not order it, room service is available. Please be aware of check-in and out hours and read all rules. Kabukicho is great for night life, but stay aware of your surroundings. This is a love hotel, so don't expect the impossible, but the room was very clean with by far the widest range of amenities I ever found in a hotel of this price range. Very pleasant atmosphere in the room too and as far as Tokyo goes plenty of space for a few big suitcases. One downside (also typical for a love hotel) is the permeating smell of smoke... Avoid. We had a friend come up to the room for a bit more than 10 minutes. The staff then demanded we pay an additional approx 5800 yen as it is a love hotel. After arguing with the reception and manager I paid it out of fear of being kicked out of our room with nowhere else to go with the money we had left. The price charged here for "by the hour" visits is significantly higher than surrounding hotels also. The customer service here in this instance was absolutely terrible.
