« Lovely island with friendly staff and very nice beaches and views. The bathroom in the hotel room wasn’t completely clean in some places but the bed was comfortable and the overall decor was nice, and the air con worked well. There was a large range of good food on offer and there were lots of activities and excursions available to do each day.
If you want a purely quiet, undisturbed, retreat-style location then you may want to go somewhere else as there is a bit of relaxed background bustle...

- Accommodations were lovely, we had an ocean view bure and the screened patio was perfect to sit on and watch the sunrise in the morning. The furniture is slightly rustic but it was all quite clean and spacious. The gardens are maintained every day and have an array of local plants to walk through.
- The restaurant was first-class. Extensive menu with a bit of everything including some traditional Fijian dishes (kokoda and ika vakalolo) that were so fresh and delicious. We had several meals there (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and it never disappointed. The menu lists what’s gluten-free optional and vegetarian which we greatly appreciated. The food was all well-priced as well compared to other resorts. Hats off to the chefs!
- The entertainment was fantastic, they hosted a warrior dance Friday night, a Polynesian show Saturday night, and had a lovely trio band playing every night that added the perfect ambiance to dinner.
Overall, we were sad to go and will treasure the memories there. Will also note that airport transfers take cash and day trip availability they advertise can vary. "
