(My partner is a railfan who has his own YouTube channel.) None of us were disappointed. The property is an early 20th Century bungalow that has been beautifully restored to its original glory (and then some!). The decorator's taste is absolutely divine, with a wonderful blend of mid-century bright colors and pastels. In addition, the living room and downstairs sitting can be easily turned into sleeping accommodations for additional guests in your party. It's in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with friendly residents, plus a wonderful cat named Marcie who lives right next door. The house and yard are immaculately maintained, and there were even fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived. I would particularly recommend this location for railfans. In addition to the tracks being within easy walking distance (even for my partner), good shots of trains can be obtained from the large, unobstructed windows in the sitting room, in case of inclement weather. Only two minor beefs: The front door lock can be a little fussy, and the only bathroom is located downstairs. Four stars out of four. ##### Caroline E. Front porch will accommodate friends or family. Beds were comfortable, temperature was easy to control, and neighborhood was very quiet—except for the trains, of course. Host provided lots of ear plugs, so we even slept through trains. (I’m pretty sure you can’t stay in Tipp City without hearing the trains.) Bathroom was large and had lots of amenities. He loved watching the trains go by. The house has a cozy Boho feel. It was easy to get in l, the beds were comfy, nice wine open and cocktail glasses. We took a walk down down and checked out some shop, the toy store and a boutique. Everyone was friendly. We ate at Harrisons and Coldwater Cafe. They were both good.
