The locals are very friendly and accommodating so long as you remain humble and respectful. To those coming over like us from america there are a few things to understand. To American eyes the area surrounding the rental are at first glance a slum, were an American neighborhood in such condition it would be a place to anticipate a mugging. However here it is a simple working class neighborhood with great people and lots of dogs. Anticipate loud music from local bars on the weekends Tijuana folks know how to boogie! There is a small market down the hill for conveniences like snacks, drinks and beer. Not much else in close walking distance but only a few minutes drive to large grocery stores and only 10-15 minutes to the heart of Tijuana. Terrible Place! The place is filthy, and lots of cockroaches live there permanently, Hard to check-in. Honestly I couldn't stay there for One Hour, I checked out right after seeing the terrible conditions.
