TIGNES les BREVIERES (1550 m d’altitude) is a small village connected to TIGNES and VAL d’ISERE ’s slopes by BOISSES cable car. Sun facing in the morning, the village has its own ski school, a slope for the beginners. Skiers are riding down to LES BREVIERES because of long off pistes itineraries and long natural slopes. Several restaurants and well known terrasses give a good break there at midday, with authentic and fine local flavours to share with your riding crew. CHALET JOSEPHINE is located at the top of BELVEDERE which combines the charm of a traditional Alpine village with fast lift access to the Espace Killy. Sunny from the morning. We had mostly everything we needed. Good parking for one car.However, we were disappointment that for 8 of us staying in this chalet we did not have enough mugs and glasses, no tumblers and only 3 wine glasses. Although we asked our property manager to bring us more, none showed up and we had to drink out of our flasks and water bottles. Each room had its own bathroom with bath, but the hot water ran out after 5 or 6 showers, so at least two of us would have cold ones. I personally wouldn't recommend for beginners as only one green run and one Red run back down to the resort. ##### Caroline B.
