We enjoyed days out on the lake with kayaks, a canoe and life jackets provided. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast on the beautiful back porch overlooking Lake George. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. It's a very quiet area on the lake especially because it's in a no wake zone. The water was crystal clear. The neighborhood and section of the lake is quiet. There are neighbors but they were very nice! Property is very clean and is well maintained. It’s in a beautiful and peaceful location on Lake George. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoes, spending lots of time out on the water. The neighbors are so friendly, it was a treat to feel so welcomed. Erin was super responsive and very easy to communicate with. Super quiet lake front location that we thoroughly enjoyed. The neighbors were super friendly and even let our kids use some of their water toys. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms. Loved the extra space and bathroom in the basement. We enjoyed a fire pit one night, got the wood a couple mins down the road for $5 a bundle. We had fun fishing off the dock, caught a few blue gill that we threw back. The water is shallow and clear but bottom is sludge. Didn't bother us at all. Took 2 day trips to Lake George (about an hour drive) and enjoyed 2 days at the house and touring Ticonderoga. Fort Ticonderoga was fun and educational for adults and kids. Super Walmart super close for anything you need. We enjoyed breakfast at Hot Biscuit diner and the atmosphere at Burleigh's Luncheonette was great. There's a cute gift shop a few steps away that we loved, lots of unique apparel and souvenirs. Delivery from House of Pizza was great too...the pickle pizza is surprisingly good! The rental is great, from the deck with the swing to the super comfy bed, everything was perfect. Our senior dog especially loved having another dog next door to watch from the deck. Friendly neighbors as well.
