"Rooms were fairly basic but nice enough. 1 restaurant with same sort of food each day. There’s a pool bar in the day and a bar open in the evening. Not enough loungers by the pool as people leave their towels out from early morning. There are signs saying people can’t do that but no evidence to show anyone was checking. Not enough parasols so most of the beds are in direct sun all day with no shade options"

"Nice hotel in a great spot . Beachfront location with bars shops a plenty within easy walking distance . Very busy so you have to be ready by 9am to get a sunbed you want or you will miss out . Food wasnt the best . Rooms are nice , modern . We had a suite which had an extra little lounge area with a sofa , tv . Overall personal score 7/10 "

"Great view, I’ve stayed here a few times now on the last 17 years and the place is slowly falling apart. Such a shame as the location is great! Word of warning the place is now a weed den. People smoking weed all day and night at the property. Not a great experience. If that’s your type of holiday - go for it !"

"Great place to stay for Porter del Carmen old town and harbour. Accommodation is great value for money as a whilst the food in the restaurant was limited choice, it was fairly good for all inclusive buffet. We enjoyed our stay here but was mainly a base for us. Be warned that the property is on s hill with lots of steps so if you have mobility issues then this isn't the property for you. Otherwise give it a go, it's good value for money and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main resort strip is about 15 minute walk. "

"Liked: proximity and ease of getting to the beach, the food/buffet, the friendliness of staff, the gym was basic but sufficient Could be improved: Ants in room - lots of them crawling everywhere, even over phone when on it Sliding door in bathroom didn't close properly so no privacy Wifi - didnt work for us so we used our own data Shampoo/shower gel dispensers didnt actually work - the pumps seemed broken and couldnt be removed from wall so couldnt use No milk provided for tea at the self service areas, would be easy enough to provide little cartons. "Hotel was overall very good, all inclusive choice of food was excellent, alcohol choices were extremely poor. I would normally stay in H10 and it doesn't really compare to be honest. At H10 you get a choice of a bottle of water or glass of wine with your dinner. Here you only got a small glass of water. Room was very clean and air conditioning was also very efficient, hotel overall was well manicured which makes for a very pleasant experience. Shower size and pressure was excellent, there seemed to be a slight glitch in that occasionally where the shower water would get very hot quite quickly without having touched the regulator (Room 326). Hotel location is very good approx 4km from the port in Puerto del Carmen and something similar to the airport runway. The beach to the front of the hotel is an excellent beach and reasonably safe. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, hotel is designed to make it feel like each room is an apartment and when you leave the room you get a feeling of being outside immediately which is quite nice and takes away the claustrophobic feel of hotel corridors. Entertainment was also very good taking into account it is a holiday hotel, a lot of the performers seemed to be from Bulgaria and we really enjoyed the shows they put on and you could tell there was a lot of effort put in with limited stage and equipment to probably work with so they deserve a lot of credit. Overall its a good hotel and we enjoyed our stay."
