The cottage was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped. Being a cottage the bathrooms were a little dated. The back patio was great. Right on the edge of the river. At dusk the bugs come out. The kids loved sleeping in the loft above the kitchen. The kitchen had everything you could think of. Even though the river behind the house was dried up, we still saw a black bear, deer, great horned owl, quail, turkey, possum and skunk so incredibly close, using the riverbed as a path. The house was clean and had everything we needed. An abundant amount of towels. The sound of the river running in back was perfect sound for naps on the deck in the afternoon after spending the morning hiking and exploring the NP.
