Sleeps 12! \*\*\*We now have Starlink satellite Wifi internet, allowing streaming and video calls.\*\*\* Hope's Vista has been a popular location for family gatherings since the 1980s, and now they are sharing the space with you! Come find out why it's been a family favorite for so many years! \*\*\* A maximum of three cars is allowed on the property at ALL times, and street parking is not allowed in this area.\*\*\* Located at the edge of Three Rivers on top of a knoll that provides excellent views and a perfect space for multiple family members traveling together. This house is approximately 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. We are driving distance from all businesses in town, although it is a pleasant walk down the driveway and into the local neighborhood. Just be prepared to go back UP to the long, steep driveway! Two master Bedrooms make this an ideal space for two families traveling together. The third bedroom offers three beds for all the children, and the fourth bedroom gives Grandma and Grandpa privacy! Both Master bedrooms have a private bathroom, king-size beds, additional seating areas, and great views from either location. One master bedroom is downstairs, and the other is upstairs. The third and fourth bedrooms will be on the second floor. The third bedroom includes two twin beds and a queen bed with closet space for suitcases. The fourth bedroom has a full-size bed with a large closet. The lower level includes the living room, kitchen, laundry room, main bedroom, and two bathrooms. The upper level offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The expansive deck extends along the backside of the house, with entry and exit locations in the living room and master bedroom. It offers outdoor seating, a propane BBQ, and a SEASONAL fire pit. The fire pit has seasonal restrictions, and you must supply your firewood. A maximum of three cars is always allowed at this location as it is a "Shared" driveway. We do not want them to feel like a freeway is next to them. Please also know that the driveway is paved but steep, curvy, and narrow. The best part? Your best family friend is allowed because we are pet-friendly! There is plenty of room to roam, but please be mindful of property boundaries and do not trespass. What a fantastic property. My son works for the Park Service and everyone who didn't have a place to go for Thanksgiving was invited.We had quite a crowd for Thanksgiving dinner. It was great. So many new friends. Introduced them all to Allice’s Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie.There were four of us who stayed there, plus a dog. The place was clean and quiet.Sheila, the host, is a rock star. Always answered her calls and texts if we had questions.We have no complaints. Almost everything needed was there already. It was our base camp for exploring Sequoia National Park- the home was located close to the park, as well as yummy restaurants in town. If you enjoy Greek food, Tony’s Taverna was fantastic. The yogurt shop downtown was really, really good, too! As for the property, the rooms were comfortable although the room with a queen bed and two twins is probably best for kids as the mattress is a little older and probably not as comfortable for adults. Everything you need for cooking and preparing meals at home is provided at the house and Sheila was super responsive when we needed additional coffee filters. We brought our dogs with us and the house is really pet friendly. The yard is not fenced, though this was not an issue for our pups. We’re pretty sure there was a rattlesnake under the deck and we saw and heard coyotes in the area so you’ll just want to go out with your pups to make sure they’re safe. That’s to be expected in the terrain around the house so we knew to be watchful. It’s a beautiful area and a fun place to explore. Thanks for sharing your home with us and our family! ##### Carey D. It was very close to the entrance for Sequoia National Park which was our purpose in being there. We enjoyed some restaurants and shops in the little community of Three Rivers. We had 4 adults and 4 small children and had extra unused bedrooms. Property manager was also great and quick to respond to any inquiries. Proximity to the park is about as good as you can get for Sequoia. Close to shops and restaurants. Lots of privacy and large property grounds with a great deck to enjoy the outdoors. Views from property are gorgeous. Just across the street from the river/lake. Good WiFi and multiple AC units. Two master bedrooms which are huge and have kings, one large bedroom with a queen and a twin and one average bedroom with a queen. ##### Brandon T. The outside deck is where we spent most of our time, enjoying nature and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Also, the hosts were great. We had trouble figuring out the AC in one room (user error), and we eventually figured it out right as our hosts were coming to check on the issue. 5/5 stars for sure on hospitality, cleanliness, location, and ambiance! ##### Robert D. We had two small issues that we noticed when we arrived and contacted the property management and it was corrected almost immediately. To say they were great is an understatement - they were awesome. No hot water in bathrooms absolutely, toilets clogging, and AC is very inconsistent. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and dinnerware but not with basic condiments such as salt and sugar. I will say the picture did not do a justice for the property, it looks much better in person. As a part-time location photographer, I will say there's great room for improvement. Let's talk about the property. The Good: \* Big rooms with good setup. Including living room, kitchen, patio deck. \* Independent location, no distraction from others. \* Good scenery, views. \* Close to local attraction and business in three river. e.g. about 3min to Slide Rock recreation area. \* 30min to Sequoia National Park. The bad (or some fact) \* The property is though well maintained, is definitely aged. Furnitures, appliance are not new. Some of the furnitures, including one of the bed are a little shaky. \* The network reception is not good, including the Wifi on-site. (We tried ATT is okay, Verizon is okay, Tmobile is no go, Wifi, probably ADSL? the speed is less than 1M) \* Sequoia and King Canyon are large park, if one plan to stay here and goto King Canyon, a single trip will take 2 hours, will probably better stay at cabin inside the park if plan to go further. ##### Ray C. Just needs a little love in the inside; otherwise beautiful! We really enjoyed our stayed. We had no issues at all. The cabin had everything we needed. They even had complementary monsters and Pedialyte beverages on the fridge. The cabin was very clean from top to bottom and was very spacious. One family member proposed on the back yard and it was perfect for the occasion. We also could not ask for a better location since there were gas stations and places to eat within a mile away. I wish I could submit pictures of the set up when my family member proposed so everyone can see. We look forward to stay at this cabin again. ##### Irvin C.
