The property had all of the amenities for a great stay that makes you feel just far enough from real life that you get a much needed break from daily life. The owners were very helpful and I was very happy with their care and keeping of the property in the middle of a wind and snow storm. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m going on a ski vacation to Elk Mountain. The cabin was true to the description and pictures. It was clean and well appointed. The furnishings were quite comfortable. The grounds are well maintained. There were only a few other folks staying there but we enjoyed the pavilion, fire pit and outdoor grilling space. The property is on a long rolling hillside with wonderful views. The description was not kidding when it says it's in a very rural area. We only saw a few cars drive by the whole time we were there. That being said, the nearest store/food was a little over 10 minutes away so be prepared to drive to everything. There were plenty of outdoor activities for all seasons. Overall, it was a wonderful space for a couple or bring a group and take advantage of all the communal amenities. ##### Sean R. Coming from Philadelphia, it was really great to get out in the country. This cabin is a cluster of four or five other cabins so you’re not completely isolated, but it is definitely out there in the country. Very refreshing change of pace from the city. My boyfriend and I rented this property for one night in early November and absolutely loved it. My wife and I were completely blown away with the attention to detail that made our stay extremely memorable.. the location is perfect for sunset sky gazing.
