The staff especially at the activity centre discourage you from planning any activity. Just eat sleep and go back.

Not impressed

I went to this hotel with great expectations. The promo video made me think that this place was somewhere in the middle of tea estates and the location was exotic. But it is right in the middle of the town. The resort was nice. It is well landscaped and well maintained. The food was very average. However the rooms were very cold and damp and the bed was wet. We had booked 3 rooms and all three rooms were like that. There is no exaust system to manage the dampness in the room. Staff were very friendly. However, most of the activites were outside the resort. There was not much to do inside the resort except for a game room. The massage servcie was expensive compared to those outside the resort. There is not much to see in Thekkady. Most of the attractions sounded better on the internet and brochures than it really was. If you go to the wild life boat tour during the rainy season, you are going to feel miserable. the animals dont come out and the boat ride to see the animals is not pleasant.
