The owners are very helpful and polite, willing to let you come and go as you please. The bedroom (included bathroom) was great (impressive water pressure considering the age of the building) and the grounds are very relaxing to be on. Amenity-wise, the outdoors is the main option. The hiking trails are very nice. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. We were made to very welcome in this fascinating family chateau. We enjoyed the tour of the chateau by the host very much and recommend booking dinner there which was excellent and beautifully presented. Very good breakfasts and lovely very clean pool in very special tranquil environment. You will have a lovely time if you enjoy being in a historic lived in home, with charming host and hostess, rather than an all mod cons hotel.
