They stretch a few hundred feet wide! Slowly cascading down a side of a rock faced wall. It is a short but tenuous hike to see the falls. But, they are some of the best you can see in the south east. Maybe not the tallest or most water flowing, but it is a beautiful, slow, and pooling fall. As an added bonus the river it flows into is controlled by a dam, so you can at times get up to the waterfall, and at other times raft the river which I'm guessing is a class 3-4. It was during the week, so we were the only guests.They kept the complimentary drinks iced, had dog treats for our pup. And upgraded our room. It was beautiful, scenic with the river and Smokey Mountains nearby. Easy to get into the room considering we arrived after 8pm. The manager replied and was so helpful. Even brought me a pair of rain boots because I was interested in going down by the river.
