They stretch a few hundred feet wide! Slowly cascading down a side of a rock faced wall. It is a short but tenuous hike to see the falls. But, they are some of the best you can see in the south east. Maybe not the tallest or most water flowing, but it is a beautiful, slow, and pooling fall. As an added bonus the river it flows into is controlled by a dam, so you can at times get up to the waterfall, and at other times raft the river which I'm guessing is a class 3-4. I went on a trip with 5 people and everyone was amazed no one had any complaints. The location is beautiful and amazing on a peaceful farm out in the country. There is no phone service in this area, but the WiFi works great and has no problem making or receiving phone calls.
