The setting is beautiful, and the cabin is quite large. We had plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was very nice. The Dail a Ride service was convenient. A few drawbacks of note include old kitchen appliances that made cooking a little more challenging and a heating system that just went all over the place regardless of thermostat settings. Also, access to the loft is by a vertical ladder, so bringing luggage up there was impossible. House was a short 4 minute drive to Mountain village. Had a small issue with the master bedroom shower head and they had someone there within 30 minutes and he fixed the issue very quickly. Unbelievable views from the back decks. Two car garage was very nice and the ski room was also an added benefit with ski racks and boot heaters. The property was spacious and cozy however there were a few inconveniences/concerns. First, we were provided with two modes of entry, a garage door code and a code to a lock box containing a front door key. The key to the front door did not work as the front door lock was completely broken and not functional from the outside. We would have to go in the garage door and open the front door from the inside in order to load/unload our luggage. The maintenance on the house was severely lacking in other areas as well. Window valences were falling off of the basement windows and one set of blinds was just laying on the floor. The cleanliness was non-existent as well. Every dish that we pulled out of the cabinets were caked with food. We had to load and run the dishwasher upon arrival. You could tell the property had not been vacuumed in quite some time as there were multiple dead moths in every room. Lastly, the fireplace had been used prior to our arrival and was the ash was never cleaned out. We had to clean out all the old ash prior to starting a fire (we also felt the need to clean it out prior to our departure to ensure it was clean for the next family). With the exception of the aforementioned cleaning/maintenance issues, our stay in telluride was amazing and the property was great. ##### Erica D.
