Tucked into a quieter neighborhood just one block south of Main Street and two blocks from the gondola, guests of South Pacific Townhouse will have all the delightful comforts of home, complete with easy ski access, gorgeous mountain peak views, and the enjoyment of downtown right outside your door. The classic front facade of South Pacific Townhouse resembles a modern Victorian— with multiple porches, steep gabled roofing, and charming scalloped siding. Guests enter the home from the south entrance, where you’ll find convenient PARKING and a large DECK with plenty of seating and magnificent views. On the main level, there’s a comfy and inviting GREAT ROOM— where everyone can gather together easily. In the LIVING ROOM, there’s a leather sofa, armchair, and a built-in window seat that overlooks the front porch. A stone fireplace and large HDTV create an ideal spot to watch your favorite TV show or simply curl up with a good book by the fire. A DINING AREA has a farmhouse-style table with seating for six and seamlessly blends the living area with the KITCHEN. Natural wood cabinets and granite tile countertops provide plenty of storage and workspace. Premier appliances include a gas range with a griddle, a paneled refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Bar stools on the tiered island provide additional seating. This main level also includes a convenient POWDER ROOM. The PRIMARY SUITE occupies the entire second level of this home— allowing for complete privacy. The suite includes a luxe king-size bed underneath an airy vaulted ceiling, an HDTV, and a glass door that leads outside to your private terrace with mountain views. The house has a nice cross breeze in the summer and the basement rooms stay cool. Really enjoyed the 2 porches and the upstairs suite is very spacious and has a great bathroom. My grown kids enjoyed having separate bathrooms downstairs. Be sure to lock your trash, bears seem to love to visit this street each night. Only negative was the driveway parking which was really too small for 2 cars. Also the units across the street constantly park in the alley and blocked us in. The kitchen was great with all the things you need to have a meal at home. The market is close by as well as access to the River Trail. The view from the front porch upstairs and downstairs is fantastic. We would have liked the TV/AV system to be a little more up to date with capabilities to stream our own shows, but we made due with what they had. New tvs or even adding something like a Roku device would be helpful. In my title I say this property is great for a family (meaning only one) because only children will be happy sleeping downstairs. It was so clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location was perfect - close to the gondola, all of our favorite restaurants and hiking. We had to leave abruptly due to the closing of the ski resort and the COVID situation and the management was incredibly understanding and accommodating. They refunded a portion of our money, were responsive and friendly. We will absolutely rent from them again at one or more of their properties. ##### Andy H.
