Adjacent to Telluride's Town Park and the beaver pond, this two-bedroom condo looks out at Ajax Peak and the iconic box canyon backdrop from a private deck. Bedding: King, captain's bunk, queen sofa-sleeper This lovely home is a two-bedroom/two-bathroom condominium located on the parking lot level of the B building in the Riverside complex. Upon entering this home, guests go down a short hallway and are welcomed into a spacious Southwest style living area. There is a large sectional sofa with a pullout queen sleeper, a gas fireplace, flatscreen TV and stunning views from the sweeping glass doors facing Ajax Peak. The private covered deck overlooks the Beaver Pond with amazing reflection views - making it a great spot for a cup of coffee or glass of wine after exploring Telluride. Be sure to check out the alpenglow! The dining room is adjacent to the living room and has seating for six as well as three additional seats at the breakfast bar. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a toaster, blender, microwave and coffeemaker. The master bedroom is at the end of the short hall and has a king bed, flatscreen TV and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame Ajax Peak. The ensuite bathroom has granite countertops and a shower/tub combination. The second bedroom is at the opposite side of the hall and has a captain's bunk (twin over a queen) and a flatscreen TV. A hallway bathroom has a step-in shower and a single vanity with a granite countertop. Guests can enjoy wifi, a great location, and a ski locker located right outside of this home. The Riverside complex has two outdoor hot tubs with glass surrounds so you can enjoy the trees and views. Downtown Telluride, the gondola and Lift #8 are all within two short blocks of Riverside. Town Park is a stone's throw to the east, and the Bear Creek trailhead is just off the parking lot. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The photos on VRBO are accurate and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Our hosts kept us up to date regarding our stay via texts and email. Everything is within walking distance of the condo. The gondola is a 5-minute walk away. This condo is within easy walking distance of the free gondola to Mountain Village as well as downtown Telluride restaurants and shops. The balcony has 4 comfy chairs on it, and the view is beautiful of a small lake and the mountains. There is no air conditioning, and in July, we could have used a couple of fans during the day and even at night. The furniture is comfy but the decor could use updating. Check-in and out were very easy. The condo was clean but definitely showed its age, the master shower floor was stained, the master bedroom sheets only covered half the bed, and the blankets and pillows were very old. Not enough hot water for 5 people to shower. The hot tub was hot and clean, and the views from the deck were lovely! Cozy cabin like atmosphere in a great location. Only disappointment was the master bed mattress is worn out and lumpy with large slumping area in middle. We went there to Rest and Relax, we did not get good rest. I recommend a new mattress. Mar 9, 2017 #### Great Family Ski Trip Condo We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo and would not hesitate to rent it again. It was in a very convenient location. I would not call it ski in/out, but it was a very easy walk to the lift. You could ski it, but it is quite flat so you will be getting a good workout with your poles. It was also an easy walk to the heart of town for restaurants and shopping. The hot tub right next door was great after a full day of skiing. The ski locker right outside the door was great too. Perhaps the best part was the views! The unit has breathtaking views of the mountains. The only thing that could have made it better was to have some extra towels for the hot tub, and some extra pillows/blankets/linens for the pullout sofa, and perhaps just a little bit cleaner, but not a big deal at all. This is not a luxury unit, but very nice & comfortable for a family vacation. The western décor was fun and made you feel like you were in the mountains. ##### Amy D.
