We were there during the spring/summer so I can’t say much about the location for skiing but for hanging around the beautiful town of Telluride, it’s perfect! My only complaint is how noisy everything is. The walls must be paper thin because we could hear everything outside and around our unit. It is in very close proximity to downtown Telluride. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants on the Main Street. The only downsides to this property were parking and noise. There are not many spots available near the property to park. Also, you can hear everything that happens in the building and outside the building. Bed was large and comfy. Location to town and gondola to mountain village was great. Only challenge was the unit was on the first floor at main entrance. You not only heard every guest come and go, but you could clearly hear all the hikers and bikers on the river trail, and the flowing river.
