This four-bedroom mansion in Mountain Village, located on the Lower Galloping Goose ski run at Telluride Ski Resort, epitomizes mountain modern living. The main living area features an open floor plan with large windows showcasing views of the jagged mountains. The kitchen, with its emerald and warm wood accents, complements the edgy architecture. The living room has two sitting areas and a double stone fireplace that warms both the inside and the patio. Upstairs, three of the four bedrooms offer sleek ensuites—one with a cedar soaking tub and shower, the other with a porcelain soaking tub and shower. The spacious bunk room sleeps six children. Downstairs, the theater room includes a wrap-around couch, large screen TV, and soundproof curtains. The lower floor also has a cozy king bedroom with an ensuite. Additional amenities include a state-of-the-art in-home spa accessible from the main floor patio, featuring a sauna, steam room, and oversized hot tub with views of the San Sophia Range. WHAT WE LOVE \- Perfect location to explore the Mountain Village and take in views of the surrounding mountains and Wilson Peak. \- Ski-in/Ski-out and hiking. \- Dial-a-Ride to the free gondolas to get around Mountain Village and the Town of Telluride. WHAT TO KNOW \- Everyone in your group must be over 31 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. \- The maximum occupancy is 12 people. \- The maximum number of cars at the property is 4. \- During peak seasons, check-in time is 4:00 pm. There is typically a departure the same morning, and our teams are going to great lengths to make the home perfect for a 4:00 pm arrival time. Luggage storage is unavailable while the home is being readied for an arrival. We recommend making travel plans accordingly. Our Reservation Specialists are happy to offer suggestions if you arrive early. The house is conveniently located close enough to walk to the Village Market and the gondola but also very private. Our main issue was the heat in the main bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. We do fully understand that central A/C was not available. When we arrived the upstairs was 81 and stayed that way for a couple of days. We were not able to get the upstairs bathrooms below 77 for the entire trip. The outside high was only 75 for the week. We had fans on, doors and windows open. The bathrooms are located over the sauna, steam room and electrical room so that contributed to the issue. Its a beautiful home and the views are as spectacular as pictured. The house is very well equipped and kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware for our needs and we cooked a lot! When we did have to call for maintenance or an issue they were out pretty quickly and very responsive. ##### Shelley K. House is beautiful, modern, with a sauna and hot tub after those long days on the slopes! We did wish for a few other tv’s than the single one in the basement, as well as some more amenities in the bedrooms: dresser needed in the bunk room, full length mirrors in each bedroom for dressing, and also a hairdryer in every bathroom would be preferred (3 out of 4 had one though).
