A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The location is quiet and secluded but only about 20 minutes from the national park visitor centre. Torrey is about 10 minutes away with an interesting selection of places to eat plus a general store for any essentials. The property is very clean and comfortable with everything you might need for a few days away. I have nothing bad to say at all, it fitted our needs perfectly and was a great place to relax after hiking around Capitol Reef all day. Thank you for the great memories. ##### Jurek B. House was clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. Host communicated well but had no problems while we were there. Lots of privacy, stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and 2 bathrooms, 1 up,1 down. Teasdale didn't have much to offer but Torrey was only 5 miles away with everything you need in a quant town setting. Food was great, ATV rental was fun, but canyon hiking is not easy!! The property manager was wonderfully responsive when problems arose. The only thing 4 stars about it was the property maintenance equipment left outside near the entrance to the unit. The location right at the base of a wall of rocks is so unique. This was a perfect location for Capital Reef adventures. The property manager was very helpful and responsive.
