Staff work very hard, it is clean and easy walking distance to Old Tbilisi and many tour pick up points. But because it is a small, private property, some of the fixtures are older and it’s not a sit around and relax sort of hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. We checked into this hotel right after we drove from Stepantsminda, and we were tired and hungry. The staff offered us breakfast and champagne and we were so grateful for that. Breakfast is spectacular, with the beautiful piano playing live. The location is perfect. There is an underground bridge nearby that leads you to where the good restaurants are. I really cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Location excellent, just off the river and walking distance of freedom square, the hill fort and a bustling art and restaurant district. Rooms nicely equipped, a little musty but more than acceptable and full of character. Price was excellen.
