Solteiras is a suburb of Tavira and is around 8 km from the centre of Tavira City. There is a beautiful coastline of unspoilt beaches within a short drive, which are crossed by the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the Algarve. The Praia de Tavira is the region’s finest and most popular beach, which is connected to Tavira by a regular and inexpensive ferry, which departs from the city centre (10-minute walk from the apartment) and also from Quatro-Aguas. The Island is 11Km long and is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Algarve Region. Many companies offer boat tours, including kayaking and paddle boarding. Nearby attractions include the Church of São Lourenço, 49 km away, and the Benamor Golf Course, just 5 km from the villa. The nearest airport is Faro Airport, located 53 km from Casa do Limoeiro. Golf enthusiasts will also find several local golf courses nearby: Benamor Golf Course, located just 4km from the villa. This 18-hole course offers scenic views and a pleasant challenge for golfers of all levels. \*Quinta da Ria & Quinta de Cima Golf Courses: About 15 minutes away by car, provides stunning coastal countryside views. Monte Rei Golf & Country Club: Approximately 20 minutes away, this prestigious course designed by Jack Nicklaus offers a luxurious golfing experience. \## Transit If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended.
