The drive to Key West is approximately 2 hours south and is remarkable! Getting Around: A car is needed in the Florida Keys. Ocean Pointe is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it worked well for our family of 4\. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some of our meals and it was super handy having a washing machine and dryer. Only downside was people would go to the pool and put towels on groups of lounge chairs to “reserve” them and not return for hours. We just went to the beach instead and there was a nice bar steps from the sand. Our boys enjoyed the tennis courts. There was a food truck in front of the pool daily where you could order. It seems to have been recently renovated and is well-maintained. The kitchen is well-stocked if you plan to cook or prepare food at the condo. The bedrooms are also updated with cool features like wireless chargers for your phones! The property is well maintained, with a large pool, bar, tennis courts, and beach access. Largo was friendly and very responsive throughout our entire trip! She even helped to find and return a lost item of ours, all within a day. The property was a gated property with so many amenities. We used the large pool everyday! The tennis/pickle ball courts were very well maintained as was the whole property and landscaping. The beach and boardwalk were immaculate and so much fun to watch sunrises/sunset. The property is centrally located within 10 mins of Key Largo and Islamorada. So many great restaurants and things to do so close by. Hope to be back again some day.
