Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, or scan the horizon for dolphin, native sea birds or the occasional passing boat on our large private balcony. Spend the day wading in the water fly-fishing, or swimming in the oceanfront heated pool under the swaying palms. The pictures of the Condominium grounds are pre Irma. We appreciate your patience as well enhance our property. Please note our condo is fully functional The Space: This charming one bedroom one bath suite with sleeper sofa is in a private community nestled on the Atlantic's Edge. Located on the end of the fifth floor, featuring beautiful views from the living room, kitchen, bedroom and large private balcony. This unit offers 1 Queen bed in master bedroom, a pull out queen sofa, 400 thread count sheets, 1 bathroom, 2 flat screen TV's with cable and WIFI. There is also a newly renovated fully stocked kitchen with Caribbean Blue quartz countertops and all stainless steel appliances, tiled floors, beach towels, and coin operated, communal washer and dryer on each floor. There is also a pack n play and highchair upon request. Guest Access: Amenities include: Oceanfront pool, tennis courts, private beach including : grills, tiki huts, fish cleaning station, a Ping-Png Table, and Gym. Conveniently located near grocery store and many restaurants. Please, No smoking or Pets. The Neighborhood: The condo is located near the local high school, it is a very quiet and safe area. Getting Around: A car is needed in the Florida Keys. The Oceanfront condo is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West. Other Things to Note: Please treat my home as if it was your own. No smoking or pets, please. Since the Keys are islands and made up of reefs, our beaches are narrower and the sand that you see is not part of the natural terrain. Sand is created by pounding waves hitting the shoreline and since the reef breaks up the waves before they hit the shore, no sand is actually created in the Florida Keys. The sand you see on our beaches unless imported in and carefully protected against the elements, is made up of ground coral. Interaction with Guests: I am available by phone or email anytime. We loved the balcony and the breeze each night. We enjoyed watching the soccer and Lacrosse games at the high school. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. We used the kitchen for breakfast every day and a couple of dinners. It was easy to use and everything was clean and in order. The bedroom was also very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and functional. We loved the shower. We really had no complaints about the apartment and really enjoyed our stay. We did have one minor issue though. We purposefully selected this apartment because it was supposed to have laundry on the premises. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with the washing machines. Every floor of the building has a couple of washers and dryers. But there was a sign stuck on the washers indicating that they all had a problem and until fixed, tenants/owners would have to use a laundromat on the Overseas Highway. Other than that we were very happy and would likely look to the Millers next time we go to the Keys! Thank you Millers for the use of your home!! ##### Neil V. A few things went wrong but I reached out to the owner and the issues were addressed. I have to say only one elevator was in working order so that was a pain to walk 5 flights of stairs to bring in groceries etc, but all things considered it was great. Sitting out on the balcony every day enjoying the quiet and relaxing was amazing. The pool over looking the ocean was crystal clear, warm and inviting. We would absolutely come back. ##### WENDY H. It is beautifully decorated, but how much time do you spend indoors? The patio looks out onto the football field of the local school and it has four huge spotlights that shine onto the patio every night. The distance from the elevator is a long trek next to railings that leave a lot to be desired on the fifth floor. There are issues with the patios being propped with roof jacks. I didn't feel overly safe on patio. The parking lot was completely under construction while we were there and it was noisy and cumbersome to maneuver the piles of dirt sand and debris. The pool is excellent! Inspiration point was very nice. Please don't be mistaken and think you can swim at this location or that there is a beach, you can't Swim here. At low tide, there is a lot of weed and smell. The location of the condo is actually good and quiet in the evening as it is a dead end street.
