Well-appointed and updated, this lovely 2-bedroom oceanview condo in Ocean Pointe Resort is a delight! Located on the 3rd floor allows the guest to capture the cool ocean breezes and a wonderful view of the Atlantic. A clean and inviting floor plan and décor.

Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Master bedroom: King bed with flat screen TV, ensuite bath featuring a step-in shower.
Guest bedroom: Two twin beds with a connecting 4-pc bath.

Maximum occupancy 4.

Stepping out for the day, you can enjoy a convenient breakfast in our cozy waterfront cafe, use our free lighted tennis facilities, swim in our huge heated pool, and enjoy a snack and a cocktail at the poolside bar, get some sun on our private beach, or just take a walk along our private boardwalk and marina. There is WiFi throughout the resort and in your apartment. The marina, with a boat ramp capable of handling craft up to 28ft, attracts many boaters to Ocean Pointe. (Reservations for slips must be made in advance of arrival.) Fine restaurants and shopping are just minutes away, along with boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, Everglades eco-tours, glass-bottom boat reef trips, parasailing, waverunners, and swimming with the dolphins. Everything you could want for the perfect vacation!

From sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy the many activities Ocean Pointe has to offer or just relax in your beautiful, newly renovated oceanview condo and surround yourself with our tranquil environment of sixty acres of tropical elegance in the Fabulous Florida Keys! Your vacation begins the moment you drive through our gatehouse entrance into our beautifully landscaped tropical grounds and enter your suite.

  • Inspired by @williamJones I went down to south Florida. I also went down to visit family :D. Granted, I had to capture a few landscapes along the way. I left Atlanta at 3:30 PM and got into Key Largo at 3:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours in my car and went in search of a sunrise. I hoped to find a dock falling into the water, but this was just as good. I also went from 37 degrees to 74 degrees. That was interesting.

2306 was exactly how it was listed. It was a great place to spend a few days. It was clean. Had everything we needed. The property was perfect. Pool was very nice. The beach was a nice place to land for the day. The restaurant was very good.

Overall, we had a great stay. Guard staff were welcoming and professional. The grounds were well maintained with plenty of activities. The suite we stayed at was very clean but could use new mattresses, sheets and better kitchen appliances.

Nice location, nice view. We had an issue with the dishwasher. It had smelly stale water that had been sitting in it when we arrived and the soap cup in the dishwasher wouldn't close to hold the soap. They fixed the smelly water situation, thankfully but couldn't fix the soap cup, so we had to wash our dished by hand. Not really my plan for vaca. One of the sliding glass doors wouldn't track and was hard to open and close. The person who came to fix the dishwasher didn't even have any WD40 to help the situation. The place needs a new coat of pain and definitely a new caulk job would help the overall appearance. And the water pressure was more like lack of pressure. We asked for some compensation to make up for having to do our dishes and they basically showed us their legalese covering their backsides. Good lawyers don't always make for good business. And just cause it says one thing doesn't mean you can't do the right thing.

Perfect Get Away Stay for families !

Beautiful view of the ocean & forest that you get to enjoy nature watching right off your own 2 private balconies! The in unit private washer & dryer is a game changer! Full kitchen with all glasses dishes/pots/pans/teapot amenities (full stove top & oven, microwave, full size fridge & freezer, coffee pot (bring your own filters), blender, toaster & dishwasher! Beautiful heated pool & hot tub. Quiet mariner with small private beach that is good for playing in the sand & ankle wading with water shoes. Not a swim able beach, lots of very sharp & slippery rocks. Super warm ocean water though! Gated resort with security. Currently an on site food truck open daily till 4pm with burgers, dogs, fries, chicken sandwiches & milkshakes. Gas station close by. Grocery plaza with dominos and others a 7 min drive away. Free freebies run from that plaza to more south /west. It’s a free island taxi you have to down load the app to request a ride completely free. Sometimes a long wait is the only down fall. A1 water sports with Scott as the guilds for jet ski tours was our favorite! Theatre of the sea is very small but you get a real up close & personal experience with the animals. Perfect for families as it has a swimming beach, restaurant, gift shop, show & animals experiences. Barefeet Rentals is a business so not the same as renting from a private owner & unit key pick up is 15min off site & closes at 5pm so make sure to communicate with them well before 5pm to get access to your unit.

Just what we needed

Pleasant and clean condo in gated facility with large pool and jacuzzi, marina, tennis courts, and small beach front with communal area for evening drinks and watching sunsets. Friendly staff, very responsive management. And did I mention that it was well located between the great restaurants of Key Largo and Islamorada? Was exactly what this family on a dive vacation needed!

Convenient Location

We love staying at Ocean Point because of it's location. This unit needs some TLC though. The ceiling light in the living room can only be on IF the fan is going AND the fan only had one speed - high! The sliding door can hardly be opened it's track is so old. The sofas are worn and it needs some updating over all. But the layout works well for us and we love Ocean Point so we will try another unit there next time.

Perfect Resort

This place was amazing! It is a perfect resort/location. The pool was fun and laid back. We felt comfortable letting our 14 and 17 year olds go to the pool and beach alone. We loved that we could get drinks from the bar. The beach was great’. Super family friendly and fun for all ages. Check in was easy and the guards were friendly. We hope to return next year.

Tavernier Rental

The barefeet rental did not explain that we picked up keys in Largo for the Condo in Tavernier. The beach was not good- hot and no breeze. Pool was excellent! The condo had no coasters to keep the furniture from getting water stains. The fitted sheets on king bed popped off every night- stretched out. No plastic containers, bowls, etc. ice machine did not work at all.

Had the Beach all to myself

Great view from the tini tiny patio. Nice space. They have a great pool area and I loved the beach as I am from Miami and I am happy to have seaweed and the salty/marshy smell. And as we went in August weekdays I had the whole beach to myself everyday. Need to make kayaks available on the property and our the white tile made the long black hair left over from the previous guest a bit yuck.

Key Largo- short and sweet stay

We have never been to the Florida Keys and this was a lovely accommodation. More than enough space for 2 people. Close to amenities and we liked how it had security at the front gate. We felt safe. We could have done without stopping at the main office to pick up the package with the code to the door. This could have been forwarded via email or text, as we got the pass code to pick up the package in a secret slot. The condo had basic needs, an older unit that may need some updates, ie the sink/ shower faucets in the master bedroom was sticky to turn on and although the washer/ dryer was in the unit, it worked but cut myself on the lint remover (rusted). Something worth noting, walls are thin so, you can hear your neighbour's moving things, shuffling along the floors and actual conversations! There was a pool (which had a food truck there) and a small man-made beach about another 5 mins away (by the property office). This was lovely but due to the heat, it felt like a hot tub. Haha thankfully, there were outdoor showers to keep you cool! Apart from that, if you're not too picky and over look minor things, I would recommend this place.

Decent place, nice people, nothing spectacular.

It was definitely clean, lots of minor maintenance issues could be fixed. Like running toilet constantly, was told the fridge was leaking upon checkin however no one ever came to fix it in 6 days, the chrome paint on the sink drain was flaking off. The bed and pillows were hard as a brick. However that being said it did little to detract from the enjoyment of our stay. Except maybe the lack of a good nights sleep. Which my husband slept just fine cause he enjoys sleeping on bricks.

I would never recommend this property!

This property is unacceptable for a month’s stay. The furniture, bedding, and utensils were of poor quality. Dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. We had to purchase a mattress pad to be able to sleep comfortably during our stay. The furniture had cardboard under the cushions and the bedding had burn holes. Very disappointed and unacceptable!
