Superb views from all the rooms. With the popular Café’s, Hot Pools, Main Beach, Pilot Bay Harbour and magnificent Mauao just moments away this is the perfect choice for couples or families The Space: Our apartment is located on the 8th floor of this 9th storey block. The views are stunning! The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a king bed in the second bedroom you can choose a king bed or twin single beds. The kitchen is modern and newly fitted out with everything you need for cooking in. Dine indoors or on the balcony. On the third floor is the outdoor heated pool is perfect for doing laps. Or enjoy a soak in the 38 degree hot pool. The main pool is unheated in July & August. The Spa pool is heated all year round. Two secure car-parks are at your disposal. Located in the fabulous Bay of Plenty, Mount Maunganui is famous for its endless white sand beach, year-round surf, Pilot Bay Harbour and beautiful Mauao. At the end of the peninsula the iconic Mauao stands elegantly at 230 meters tall. Everyone has the option of taking a leisurely stroll around the flat base. The more adventurous will have fun reaching the top and be rewarded with the spectacular 360-degree views. Downtown Mount you’ll find a laid-back strip of shops, bars & restaurants that offer all day dining most with alfresco tables…….Pick up a treat or souvenir from one of the locally owned boutiques, enjoy an ice cream or coffee, browse one of the weekly markets or soak yourself in one of the salt water hot pools or treat yourself to a papering session at one of the spas. Pilot Bay offers sheltered year-round swimming and kayaking. Picnic on the grassy shore & watch the fishermen launch their boats and cargo ships come and go. Head to main beach where new surfers can grab a lesson and watch the more experienced catch a wave or two. If the wind is up the kite surfers will be out in force. For groceries you’ll find an accessible New World at Central Parade along with cafe's, bike shops and a slick city eatery. 10 minutes’ drive away is the recently upgraded Bay Fair shopping centre with 150 shops and restaurants and the new United seven screen cinema (opens December 2020). Bay Wave offers a fun day indoors in the largest pool in the Bay. Complete with wave machine, kiddies play pools and giant slide. The air con was a lifesaver during very hot days. It isn't beachfront but is close to everything and so has everything you need. The only downside to the apartment is the level of complaints from someone in the opposite building if you leave towels on chairs on the (great) balcony. It's totally over the top and extremely invasive knowing that someone is spending so much time watching what you're doing. The check out process is also a pain given how hard it is to find somewhere to park when you have to return the keys to the apartment. Overall its a top spot and we would return and it's worth the hassles I've listed above ##### Ant F.
