Stayed with some friends for the Taos Winter Wine Festival. This home is even better in person than the photos. Beautifully appointed, comfortable beds, luxury linens, well equipped kitchen. The location cannot be beat. Walk to chair 4\. The property manager, Julie, was immediately responsive to any questions during our stay. Tip: it does state that you need 4WD in winter. I'd also suggest having chains. When the snow is heavy chains are more than handy, they're almost necessary to get up the hill, even with 4WD. ##### Vicki G. The location was excellent and we barely touched our big rental vehicle during our trip. The property was as described and we found it clean and move-in ready. The mud room was a great place to stash all our ski gear. The kitchen is well-appointed with plenty of utensils, glassware, spices, etc. The beds were all large and comfortable, and the baths were similarly large and well-equipped. One caveat: the lodging is at about 10,500 feet of elevation, which made for some breathing/sleeping issues for several of our crew.
