Gym was closed when we were there but there is good hiking not too far away. We used the place as our base for skiing at Angel Fire but am could have skiied Red River (25 minutes away) or Taos (45) as well. She gave us a detailed and friendly introduction to the area, which made our visit even more enjoyable. It's clear that she takes great care in maintaining the property and ensuring her guests feel at home.
