Located in the heart of Taormina, a few steps from Porta Messina and 100 meters from the bus station. Excellent location, very quiet area, opposite the teleférico station The villa consists of two apartments divided into two plants, connected by an external staircase The Villa, despite being in the central area, is located in a quiet place away from urban noise. The first apartment has 2 large bedrooms, 1 living room, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. It overlooks a splendid terrace, which represents the heart of the apartment, and is adorned with 4 large flowerbeds adorned with luxuriant plants and one with a large mandarin tree that ripen in December, an olive tree and an age-old cicas tree. The second apartment has 3 large double bedrooms, all with balconies and equipped with air conditioning. It also offers 1 spacious kitchen, 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower. The rooms overlook a balcony from which you can enjoy the splendid view of the Ionian coast and Calabria. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and is independent, guaranteeing each guest maximum privacy within the house You will find available towels of various sizes, blankets, pillows, sheets In the living room, you will find 1 sofa, chairs and a round table. There are appliances such as a hairdryer, washing machine, iron. There is a kitchen, stove, microwave oven, various kitchen utensils, Moka, and fridge Everything you need to make your stay in Taormina perfect The Villa, despite being in the central area, is located in a quiet place away from urban noise. The neighborhood is surrounded by souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, tobacconists, market, beauty center and a bank with ATMs. Very well connected by public transport and easily accessible by car. Opposite the apartment is the cable car station that leads to the enchanting beaches of Taormina: the Bay of Mazzarò and the unforgettable Isola Bella. The historic center is 90 meters from the apartment, to admire all the monumental beauties of the historic center of Taormina, such as the Greek Roman Theater. The Greek Theater and all the monumental beauties of the historic center of Taormina are easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. Bus station 100 meters, which connects Taormina with Catania airport and all the most important centers of Sicily, from which the most beautiful excursions depart: for the Etna volcano, the Aeolian Islands, Syracuse, Ragusa, Noto, Piazza Armerina, Agrigento etc. Furthermore, at 800 meters, there is the "Lumbi" car park it is usually the first large car park to be found in Taormina arriving by car, it offers its customers a free shuttle service to the historic center of Taormina (round trip). At 300m from the apartment there is a guarded parking (20€ per day for car, 40€ per day for Van). It was stocked well and the view and location was excellent. We were 8 couples so it worked perfectly with 2 couples staying downstairs having their own bedroom and bath and shared a kitchen/sitting area. Then we had 2 couples stay upstairs with each having our own bedroom and hall bath and shared a kitchen area The view from upstairs was stunning! The only negative was we had 1 set of towels for each person for the 3 days we were there, so be prepared to wash and hang dry. Everything else was perfect and the host was friendly and accommodating! ##### Tricia O. It has old world charm with modern elements. It is in an exceptional location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and historical sites. The air conditioning was great and the bedrooms were spacious. The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable but we all slept fine. We met the host’s parents who live on the top floor apartment of the building. They were welcoming and his father checked on us once to ensure all was well. There is good information in the guest books in the apartments and the wi-fi is good. Be prepared to pay to tourist tax in cash (euros) upon arrival. I was told that it would be 1euro per person per day but upon arrival I was told it was 3 euros per person per day. All in all we had a lovely visit and I definitely recommend this property. ##### Karen H. First, Carlo was a wonderful host - communicates quickly and easy on WhatsApp, wasn't bothered when we needed help, and chatted with us while we waited for family to arrive! We rented the first and second floor apartments for a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for our family of 8 and it was PERFECT! The two apartments were clean, and bright, and just perfect inside! The terrace was the perfect place to sit in the morning, in the evening, and at night with views of the ocean and people walking by below. The location is also PERFECT! We walked across the street to get to the cable car to go to the beach (that means when you are coming home from the beach and you are hot and tired and want a drink, then you are immediately THERE! The location is also a 3-minute walk from all of the restaurants and shops - this meant were close and it was convenient, but we also were far enough away that it wasn't loud. Carlo was extremely nice, friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. Close to town; across the street is the tram to the beach; and location has easy car access. The rental is not exactly a house but two apartments a floor apart, with separate entrances. May not work for all family arrangements, but fine for two couples. Spotlessly clean. There is not, however, any place to sit snd relax, at least on the lower floor, other than the kitchen table or the outdoor terrace, which may not always be desirable. The baths are top notch, but the beds are slightly uncomfortable. All in all, a great place, but could use some improvement. ##### Rosemarie G. Carlos greeted us at the door and was attentive to all our needs the four days we stayed. He helped us navigate transportation. The patio and view were a highlight. Getting to the shore was a breeze with the cable car across the street. Just amazing location. We rented both floors for 8 adults and it was perfect. The outside terrace is very large and a great place to have a drink and relax. The owner and his entire family were very helpful and made us feel like extended family. The owner also helped us arrange a gourmet meal cooked by a local chef and his staff. We visited 4 cities while in Italy and this VRBO was our favorite. We will definately return to spend time with our new friends ##### Robert F. There is also a massive terrace overlooking the sea. The location is perfect, directly in front of the cable car which takes you to the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to the historic center. Maurizio was the perfect host, very polite and friendly and always available to answer questions and give advice. I can definitely recommend Maurizio's villa. ##### anthony s.
