We had a lovely stay . Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Everything was seamless from arrival to departure. We were advised to take Via Roma to the garage and call 5 minutes before arrival. The staff was waiting for us when we arrived, took care of our luggage, took us to the reception to check in, Amelia walked with us to our upgraded beautiful suite . You are right in the center of town. Thank you Amelia, Lucia, Irina and all the staff for a lovely stay.

We had a great stay at Villa Conrad by Hotel Metropole. The amenities were excellent, especially the infinity pool. The restaurant and pool both offer beautiful scenic ocean views, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The villa itself is tucked away in a quiet spot, while still being right in the middle of town and just off the main Corso. It’s the perfect balance of privacy, convenience and being close to everything Taormina has to offer. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Pictures do not do this property any justice and everything I researched about it, in hindsight, simply understated it. The property is quaint, right in the heart of Taormina, yet so very quiet at night. The loft-style villas are perfect - luxurious, large and very comfortable, with separate sitting area up above and spacious modern bathroom. Hotel Metropole is only about 100-150 metres away (a 2 min walk at most) and, not surprisingly, is beautiful! Staff were warm, welcoming and eager to assist, doing everything possible to ensure my stay was just right. Special mention to the wonderful Ms Grazia (and colleagues) in the breakfast room who could not have been more attentive without being overbearing. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I only wish it was longer than three nights, though I now know where I’ll be staying the next time I visit Taormina.

Very spacious, clean and modern. Location 5 stars. We got there early so we waited for them to show us where to change so we can go to the pool but nobody helped us so we ended up going to my brother’s resort at the four seasons and swam there instead. We were waiting for our phone call (we were told they would contact us when the room was ready). We got back at 4:30pm and still nobody had called us. The sink on the left side was clogged. I asked for a steamer and the steamer delivered did not fit into any of the outlets .

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Conrad. Modern rooms and great design and easy walking to all the sites. A lovely breakfast every morning in the courtyard and you can use the pool and the gym at the sister hotel, Hotel Metropole, just a 10 mins walk away. We had a hire car and you can valet it at the Via Roma entrance…just call them 10 mins before you arrive. The staff were wonderful and went the extra mile with their customer service.

Gorgeous hotel, with all the luxury amenities. Location is right in the center of Taormina, about 50 meters from the Main Street, yet quiet and peaceful. Villa Conrad is owned by the ultra luxury Metropole hotel which is a 3 minute walk away. So guests of Villa Conrad enjoy all the services, pool, etc of the Metropole.

I cannot say that I would recommend this hotel, and there is a large disparity in quality of accommodation and service between Hotel Metropole in Venezia and Taormina. I would recommend considering any other option first. Key takeaways: We had a king suite in July, so during peak season. The room was not ready for our check in and we had to wait for it. Room cleaning was clearly an issue for the property as the room was not refreshed until 5pm. The light switches in our room did not always work and the first night we had to power off all electricity to get the lights off. The skylights seemed to have a controller to close them that did not function and thus the room was flooded with daylight by 6am each day. When we went to check out we asked for a later checkout which they said was impossible due to a full hotel, there are several flights of stairs so when we went to check out we then had to wait 30 minutes for the porter to get our luggage. Breakfast, hospitality, and the pool service were all below expectations for the price and five star rating. Please consider other options before this one.
