The staff and team went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming stay. They accommodated my dietary needs by preparing a gluten-free French toast, which I greatly appreciated. Bambootel is a luxurious, boutique, serene and romantic experience. They truly take care of you from start to finish, and they care about making your experience the best it can possibly be. They learn your names and make you feel like a VIP the whole time. We did the private movie and supper night, Balinese massages, and floating breakfast in our villa. All three were the epitome of extraordinary and special. I would highly recommend all three! Our villa was spotless and we were so pleased with the cleanliness. The restaurant had amazing cocktails and fantastic food. The resort feels extremely safe and like you are in a small little community away from the business of the world. Highly recommend this stay. This is as close as you can get to nature while staying in a comfortable resort. During our stay we had a frog jump down from the ceiling of our bedroom on to my face, very exciting to say the least. Dining options is alright if your stay is short but longer than 3 nights can feel limited. The property condition feels a bit warn down maybe due to its location and condition it endures; our faucet was loose and sink with it’s connecting pipe was leaking for two days but it got really bad they had to come fix it. In addition, the pool heating didn’t seem to work properly and it was cold when we checked but they came to fix or turn it on. Hier stimmt alles - das Zimmer (wir hatten eine Suite mit Poolzugang), das Frühstück und vor allem die unglaublich herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter des Hotels. Es ist etwas abgelegen von Ubud, aber dadurch auch deutlich ruhiger. Mit einem kostenlosen Shuttle konnte man täglich nach Ubud fahren. Wir haben uns Fahrräder ausgeliehen und uns wurde auf Wunsch ein Roller zur Verfügung gestellt, mit dem wir die schöne Umgebung erkunden konnten. Die Yoga Class und auch der Morning Walk waren sehr zu empfehlen. The staff was so attentive, kind and truly some of the best service I’ve ever had. I traveled solo and the staff was checking in on me as well as sharing more about themselves and their culture which was just so wonderful. The food is delicious, the gym was great for a quick workout and the airport transport made the experience so seamless. The actual architecture of the villas being made out of bamboo was just stunning as well as the views for the rice terraces. I also did a complimentary yoga class which the instructor was so patient and incredible as explaining yoga and the importance of it. I also arrived on the Thursday and did the cultural dinner which the traditional food was just delicious whilst seeing the traditional dancing.
