Smells and poor booking process

We booked a room earlier in the week, the booking was confirmed and credit card charged. We found out on our drive over that the unit wasn’t available, something about the calendar not being aligned. The Property owner offered another location, a larger unit and up charged us 70 more on the unit. We were under whelmed with the unit, it had a bad smell that would not go away no matter how much spray. Showering the smell was even worse, rotten eggs. The AC was limited to one room. Overall the unit needs a major updating. We went to a friends unit around theCorner in the same area that they rented, so much nicer, cleaner and modern for about the same price. Feel like it was a bait and switch to a more expensive unit.
