Bad experience - I would avoid
This Holiday Inn Express did not meet our expectation at all. Dirty room, rust in the bathub, broken microwave, paint that was peeling off. We also did not feel safe at the hotel. The crowd was really unpleasant and there did not seem to have any kind a security to stop poor behaviour. Someone was playing the guitar in the hallway at 2 in the morning, people smoking at the pool, empty cans floating in the pool... Overal, not impressed and would not recommend to anyone.

Avons reçu accueil terrible de la part de l’employee de la réception. Avons demande pour parler au responsable de l’hôtellerie elle a refusé encore riant et nous demndant de quitter. Évidemment sans possibilité de remboursement. Elle était très vulgaire des notre arrivée.. Terrible et stressante expérience ! Aucune sécurité à cet hôtel. Non recommandable pour tous. L’employée s’en ait pris à mon père de 75 ans en lui-même criant des obscénités.

One downfall of the property is I had to call over 20 times to get someone at the front desk to answer, other than that my stay was great. The breakfast was amazing, staff was friendly, the room I stayed in had a comfy bed bed, clean bathroom and the pool was warm & clean. Def recommend this property!

Chose this hotel for a night before departing from Tampa Airport and it was perfect. Right on Tampa Bay, it was clean and the check in at the front desk was easy and quick. I wish I knew the lady at the front desks name at check in as she was very nice. The pool overlooks the bay and is very nice. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was spacious. Another great thing is that there is a Bahama Breeze restaurant adjacent- literally a 30 second walk from the front door.

This is the third time we have stayed here on our way to a cruise. Seven min. drive from the airport. The Bahama Breeze Restaurant next door, is a two min. walk. Great breakfast at this hotel.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. I’m ok with “we’re not full service” but that does not mean “no service”. There was no cleaning in the room unless we specifically asked, we had to go to the front desk to get towels and pillows, we had a plumbing problem and there was no maintenance person available to fix it, there was no milk available at breakfast and when you tried to call the front desk from your room there was no connection. It seemed for most of the time that there was only 1 person working in the whole hotel. Not only a service problem but could be a big safety problem. We will look elsewhere the next time.

The hotel and room were nice, it was comfortable and nice big TV. The floors were a bit dirty (especially behind the couch), the phone had no dial tone so could not call down to the desk for wake up call, and would be nice to have couch pillows with the sofa.

It's was NYE (Bucs game), but fireworks were going off all night (including what sounded like M80s very close by). Also, people were slamming doors & talking very loudly in the hall - all night. So, let's just say we didn't get much sleep. I even turned the fan on to drown out the noise. If I were to stay again (not on NYE), I'd bring a white noise machine (the person in the room next door was snoring really loud too).
