This is a beautiful end-unit condo, located poolside and ground level, with multiple terraces and plenty of outdoor seating. It is professionally decorated with all high-end furnishings. This condo is located within the Diria Resort--the only Beachfront Resort in Tamarindo. Within the Diria Resort there are two different common areas, one for condo guests and the second one for hotel guests only. As a guest of the condo, you have access to the 10,000 square foot free-form pool right in front of the condo only, where you can enjoy access to the Tamarindo beach through the Diria Resort property, including access to Diria shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is not included in the rate but is available for an additional cost subject to availability. The rest of the hotel amenities such as towels, Tropicana pool, lounge chairs and gym are only available for hotel guests. We provide pool and beach towels and foldable chairs specifically for your use within the condo area. completely free of charge, ensuring that you have everything you need right in your condo. The location is very good and the pool was not crowded and provided a great respite for the hot season. Having small children, it was a bit tough crossing a busy street to access the beach, and we did have an issue with one of the toilets upon our arrival. After leaving, we were also charged for cups at the condo that we did not take with us, and upon booking, it was not overly clear that we would be paying extra for a crib which was listed as an amenity. The provided beach chairs made it easy to go and enjoy the beach. There are a few markets to pick up some food if you want to cook a few meals or just have snacks for the pool/beach. The condo itself is large and very comfortable. Plenty of space to hang together or get some quiet time. (The units on the higher floors in this complex have great views of the beach/sunset… but for us the ease of access to the water was preferable, and it’s a very short walk to get the great views on the beach.) It was a comfortable condo that had access to the beachfront resort amenities. Kelly and Olber at Bluezone Properties were so responsive and attentive. We had a few challenges (our key cards weren’t activated, the battery on the safe died) and communication with property manager took about 24 hours, which is generally fine (but was frustrating when our wallets and cash were trapped in the safe). The condo is huge and the AC worked incredibly (important to us). The condo wasn’t the cleanest (mostly under the beds etc) but we got there early and may have rushed them a little. The beach was close and it was really nice to have beach chairs and towels to use. The condo is walking distance to a grocery mart and many restaurants and shops.
