A little sad that there was no view surrounding this ryokan. Unlike the ones I stayed in while I was in Hakone and Sapporo. This inn is small and has limited facilities (but it is enough.) Room was spacious and the futon was very comfortable to sleep in, staffs helped prepare the futons for us to rest efficiently. Both breakfast and dinner were good but a tad overpriced for what I was getting (beef portion was really little). The hot spring water was not as hot as compared to other hot springs I've been to as mentioned earlier. Also, would be good if they did some necessary prevention as there were many mosquitoes surrounding us while we were soaking in our private open air onsen. The facility is incredibly beautiful and classy, just like the pictures, and the food (dinner and breakfast) was extraordinary. But what sets this hotel apart is the level of service. My boyfriend and I arrived and were greeted with the friendly and courteous Okami (landlady). She personally attended to us at our arrival, dinner, and departure, and made sure that we had the best experience.
