Conveniently located, although hard to spot the sign indicating the hotel. It can be noisy at times due to other guests due to how the hotel is built. Step down into the room was a shock as there was no indication of it, plus there was a gap between door and floor which let light in. Staff were friendly. Reception says that it’s manned between certain times, reception is shared with hotel infront so it’s manned via camera. It's not as crowded as Ximending but still accessible due to the close proximity to bus stops and MRT. I discovered that the easier way to go around Taiwan from this place is through Banqiao, and not through Taipei Main Station. Decently clean bathroom, and sturdy bed. However, the worst thing about the room was the noise, as others have mentioned. Not easy to find, no elevator and not the friendliest staff. I had to go up multiple flights of stairs with luggage and no help. Anyone can come in anytime. This is security issue especially with many homeless at the park nearby. Front door should be locked after hours with hotel providing key or card access. Only one key is provided and is a regular key not keycard. Mosquitoes and other insects inside the room. No elevator. Also some very disrespectful guests at the property being loud at 6am. I believe there are bunch of Filipinos staying at the property. They wake up at 6am and start yelling and running around like chicken with heads cut off. You don’t need a wake up call at this place, you have the so called “Filipino Alarm”. Tout est neuf, propre Chambre un peu petite pour deux personnes. Ma chambre a vue sur les toits de la pagode. D'à côté. Ce qu'il manque dans cette chambre, pas de placard pour accrocher les vêtements, ou manteau. Que 3 cintres accrochés sur un seul clou du mur 😉😁. Attention pas de ascenseur.... Donc éviter de venir avec les valises lourdes. Mais le personnel, très gentil, a monté ma lourde valise au troisième étage. Merci beaucoup et Bravo de leur gentillesse. Autre chose, si pas besoin de ménage, le personnel dépose toujours deux nouvelles bouteilles d'eau devant la porte. Une belle attention de leur part et qui mérite d'être souligné. Le quartier est populaire, magasins, restaurants, marché aux puces.
