The Annex is cosy with the open plan downstairs and the two bedrooms upstairs.. Ground Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: Freeview Smart TV Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Fridge, Dishwasher Separate Toilet. First Floor: Bedroom 1: Super Kingsize (6ft) Bed Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, No Toilet. Electric Radiator heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. External games room: With pool table, table tennis and darts board. Washing machine and tumbme dryer and boot room shared with Owner. Garden with barbecue. Grounds (shared with the other property on-site). 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Electric vehicle charging point (for emergency use only). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Set amidst rolling fields in the stunning Easter Ross countryside, The Annex at Mains House offers a peaceful and stylish escape for up to four guests. This beautifully designed holiday cottage blends modern comfort with rustic charm, making it the perfect base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. Inside, the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area creates a bright and welcoming space to relax. The fully equipped kitchen allows for easy self-catering, while the dining area is perfect for enjoying meals together. The living area, with its cosy seating, provides a comfortable spot to unwind after a day of adventure. The property features a charming mezzanine double bedroom, offering a cosy retreat with lovely views across the Dornoch Firth to the north. A second bedroom features a zip and link bed, giving the flexibility of a kingsize or twin setup. There is so much to see and do in and around Tain including a visit to the Glenmorangie Distillery – take a tour and taste one of Scotland’s most famous single malts.
