Seasonal HOA amenities include private beach and pier, sand volleyball court, horseshoes, tennis courts, and swimming pool (summer use only). The community indoor hot tub (winter use only) is open on Saturdays and Sundays for adults only. The close proximity to ski areas, including Palisades Tahoe, Homewood Mountain Resort, and NorthStar make this an ideal vacation rental. It's only1.5 miles to downtown Tahoe City, easily accessed along a paved bike path. Saint Francis #53 is an excellent family-friendly location or getaway for you and your friends! This cheerful and bright townhome is fully renovated, with an up-to-date "mountain modern" vibe. Enter on the lower level which offers a master suite with a plush King bed and 3/4 bathroom (large shower but no tub), a second bedroom with 2 Twin beds, along with a full guest bathroom and laundry in the hall. Upstairs, the living room features a large flat screen TV over a gas fireplace, leather couch and 2 easy chairs. Off of the living room is a deck overlooking the Lake Forest Boat Launch. Dining area for 6 is situated next to the fully equipped kitchen. Third bedroom with Queen bed, private balcony and shared 3/4 bath (large shower but no tub) are also on this level. In the hall next to the kitchen, a wooden ladder leads to a loft with games for the kids and 2 single-size futon chairs. My 8-year-old grandson loved climbing the ladder to the loft, which was stocked with games. The deck affords a peek at the lake and was pleasant in the morning, before it was flooded with sun. The place have a rustic feel (old furniture?) but appliances and dishes in the kitchen as well as bathrooms are all updated. It's true, there's no AC - We stayed there on a hot weekend but opening the window and turning on the fan cooled the place quickly. ##### Miki S. No A/C. Nice property amenities Stayed during super hot weekend, so temps exceeded 90 degrees in the main living area. 90% of the time a/c is not needed in Tahoe.
