The 1.5 baths have been updated as well. The cozy mountain living area has plenty of seating, with comfortable couches, and a wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the spacious patio where you can relax or BBQ with the provided grill. There is No cable TV. You can long into your cable account online to get The TV that has Roku. There is Wireless Internet. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, a sauna, a hot tub (for year-round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area. (Amenities availability unknown for 2021). Each unit has two reserved parking spots. The complex is close to Tahoe City, ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain, shopping and fine dining. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off-road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center. All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans. The condo complex is located just outside of Tahoe city downtown in a quiet neighborhood a short drive off the main road. It is easy to access Safeway and Palisades without driving on steep roads which is helpful during winter storms. Inside the unit, there are three bedrooms with doors that close. Good mattress. All appliances are modern and functioning well. The kitchen has a complete set of cookware/tableware including nonstick pans in great condition. The internet speed was 61 Mbps download and 11 up.The staff was responsive and helpful over email when we needed to extend our stay to avoid a winter storm. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and you have access to the pool, tennis courts, sauna, hot tub. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need to make it a home away from home. Kitchen has all the things you need to prepare a good meal ( if you are a good cook, you need to bring some of your favorite spices and ingredients). The house also has a small deck in the back yard with a BBQ grill for your outdoor enjoyment. We definitely consider coming back if we have a chance.Side note: the trashbin is locked after 9pm and won’t be opened until 8:30 am. We had to leave early (6am) so we took the trash with us and dropped it at one of the rest area trashbin. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. The cul de sac had room for the kids to play outside. It is walking distance to the lake, a bakery and park.
