Unfortunately, immediately at checkin, our Siberian Husky became very anxious going up/down the metal staircase which set the tone for the duration of our stay, 3 nights. The hosts had small pads attached to each tread which would probably be perfectly fine for small dogs, but not for larger breeds. After speaking to Sky, he tried to remedy the situation by inserting extra material (yoga mat) under the existing pads to widen the planking. It helped a little but because the loose pads shifted on each step from her weight, it still wasn’t ideal for our girl. I appreciated Sky’s efforts! Lastly, I’m not a prudish person and realize we were in “Nelson” but when we sat outside I found the lingering smell of weed coming from the main level where the hosts reside and directly below us to be very unpleasant. It was perfect for our family’s ski vacation. They have thought of everything that could make this comfortable including an area for our ski equipment and the most comfy beds. Very private but only 15 min from town. The suite was clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and both the kitchen and bathroom were large and roomy.The deck was huge with an incredible view and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake!
