Northeast Tacoma, also known as Browns Point, is located across Commencement Bay from Downtown Tacoma.  
  
Known for its breathtaking views of Commencement Bay and the Olympic Mountains and treasured for its convenient access to urban amenities, Northeast Tacoma offers residents the feel of a close-knit, suburban community. People love being able to spend time in nature at places like Dash Point, Dash Point State Park, and North Shore Public Golf Course while still having quick and easy access to Downtown Tacoma, the Port of Tacoma, and the train to Seattle.  
  
In addition to spending time at the beach or enjoying a scenic round of golf, NE Tacoma offers visitors a variety of things to do. Home to Dash Point State Park, this outdoor oasis is its own little world and makes it easy to get out into nature without having to travel far. The 461-acre state park boasts 3,301 feet of saltwater shoreline, campgrounds, boating opportunities, 11 miles of hiking trails, and much more.  
  
Take advantage of activities at Norpoint Center (a Metro Parks community center) and join in on a fitness class or go for a swim; spend a sunny afternoon exploring and picnicking at Lighthouse Park in Browns Point; or dine at one of the area’s popular eateries (local favorites include Cliff House, El Barrio, Browns Point Diner, Pimienta Bistro and Bar, Mediterranean Gyro Grill, Taqueria Sinaloa, to name a few!). If you love taking part in community events, then make sure you don’t miss out on the Original Browns Point Salmon Bake, an annual affair that occurs each August.  
  
Waterview Haven is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood where you will easily meet people walking their dogs.  
  
As our guest, you will have code access to the gated community park with beach access.  
  
You will receive an access code two days before your check-in.  
  
The rental includes access to the entire home and garage with the excpetion of locked storage closets.

In order to provide the best guest experience possible, we will send you a text message with the door code and other check-in details two days before check-in. You will be able to reply via text with any questions that come up during your stay and we will reply quickly. You are welcome to opt out of text messages at any time.  
  
Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather or other unforseeable circumstances. Please purchase travel insurance to avoid disappointment.

Our family had an amazing 4th of July weekend stay! THE VIEWS from the balcony were spectacular and perfect for sunrise or sunset dining, we could see the fireworks from all over Commencement Bay from this perfect vantage point and had the fire pit to keep us warm once that night air set in. Also the bay windows in the kitchen right off of the balcony, give you the most beautiful backdrop while cooking. The house itself was very clean and organized. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, even with things you don’t think about like pet stain remover! We enjoyed walking our pup in the friendly neighborhood and took him on a walk down at Dash Point (it’s only a couple mins drive away). Check-in and out was easy and I loved the keyless entry. Kat the host was attentive and available for any questions! This was the perfect staycation home for us and we would definitely book again!

#### Clean House with Lovely Views

We stayed at this property to be close to extended family, so the location worked well for us. The views of the Puget Sound were beautiful, and it's a nice area to take a walk in. 6 adults and two kids fit easily in the house. Check in and communication with the owner/management went well. The house was clean when we arrived. Overall the decor is a bit dark/dated.
