Please take note of the following: Spruce Patch is accessible via a 7-mile well-maintained gravel road. While 4-wheel drive is recommended, it is not essential during the summer months. However, it is required in winter, with chains recommended due to higher snowfall at this elevation. Parking is limited to two spaces. Limited cell service and GPS coverage are available. No smoking inside - If evidence of smoking is found, there will be an immediate charge of no less than $250.00\. All pets must be disclosed. There is a one time $100 pet fee per reservation. There is an automatic charge of ​$250​ ​if an undeclared pet is found in the rental. Please pick up after your pets. Violations of Maximum Occupancy will result in an additional charge of $75 per extra person, per night plus applicable taxes representing liquidated damages, or eviction of Tenants with no refunds provided. No parties. Please be aware that stained linens will incur a $10 per towel charge. Makeup rags are available in the bathrooms as an alternative. When you stay here be sure to catch at least one sunrise and one sunset. The fire pit area allowed us to build a fire to keep us warm while enjoying the fresh mountain air even on the cold brisk days and nights- which we had. My husband, in-laws and two small children had a wonderful time relaxing in the mountains, enjoying the views, bon fire with smores, hiking at nearby spots off the Parkway and around the area. Waynesville and Sylva are very close and such cute small towns with great dining, breweries and welcoming people. The trek up the road to the cabin was a bit more than we excepted, but worth it! ##### Emma R.
