Close to Western Carolina University, greenway, downtown Sylva, Webster, Cullowhee and Dillsboro in Jackson County. Minutes to world class hiking, (8.6 miles to Pinnacle Park hiking area - 15-20 minute drive) breweries, shopping, antiquing, river and snow tubing, waterfalls in the heart of the glorious Blue Ridge mountains and the world famous Smoky Mountain National Park. Our family enjoyed a weekend stay while in the area for a performance at Bardo Arts Center. This comfortable home is close to town, yet secluded. Home is clean, beds are great and the kitchen is well equipped should you choose to eat in. The downtown area of Sylva is lovely, with several shops to explore and many restaurants to choose from. Becky, our host, communicated fabulously.We picked this house because it was on the river. My kids love nature, fishing, swimming, etc. It was so peaceful at the property, yet we were within 10 minutes of anything and everything we could possibly need. My daughter was at a camp at WCU, so we were very close to her if she needed us. From the house, we also went to the Biltmore and Sliding Rock. They were both easily accessible for day trips. Jul 23, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Concered My husband is a maintenance engineer and he turned the heat down to like 66/67 and apparently they could control it with their phone and she turned it up to 74 at first and then back down to 71 and she was concerned that the air conditioner would freeze up, but my husband knew how to control it and he was turning it down and then he was gonna turn it back up, but we were not allowed.
