The only positive about this was the price. Check-in was easy except thry got my booking confused with a prior guest and were trying (initially) to say I had no booking and they were full. When I was eventually shown the room there was dust from the ceiling fan all over the bed, the ceiling fan had a good 1cm of built up dust and grime on every blade. The bed was like sleeping on a cushion, fine I guess if you like to sink into your mattress like a cocoon, but not for me. The side tavle lamp was broken and no bulb so completely useless. Sheets were grubby, not well cleaned, I had to remake the bed as the sheets barely tucked in. There was no heating at all amd in an atea that often drops to below 10deg overnight it was not ideal. Shared bathroom was just adequate. I get that it is a pub but the local karaoke (not so taltented) which went to 11:30pm on Sat evening was not a good ending to the stay, I understand this is not in the hotels control but the sound was deafening as my room unfortunately was just above the outdoor karaoke area. In general, staff were helpful (excluding Check-in incident).
