Great views over the harbour watching boats go by all day. It was lovely Marika provided a lot of basics such as tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc. one night we even had fireworks go off in front of the house in the harbour. We did see the fireworks in Darling Harbour but view is slightly restricted to fireworks going up in the sky. It was easy to catch the ferry and the bus went straight into the CBD in about 20mins. So no need for a car when staying at the house. We used the bus to go to the shops in Balmain too. Definitely happy to recommend this house to future visitors.Worthy of note is that the lower floor is pretty much a self contained apartment in its own right. Marika couldn’t have been more helpful and the set up of the house worked really well for our 3 families staying there. The position is fantastic and very easy to access public transport. Parking at the house is a little tricky especially if you have a large car but Marika gave us advice where to park that was very convenient. Marika provided a generous food start up, the kitchen was very generously set up and it was great to have a laundry with an indoor clothes line. The home is beautiful and photos are spot on. The check-in and manual on using the home as well as info on the neighborhood were great. The location is convenient to the ferry/buses and the neighborhood has all you will need if you just want to stay close (restaurant, market and shopping are easy walking distance). The views are breathtaking and the house is just a short walk to have one of the best views of the fireworks for New Years. Marika is very responsive and accommodating. I was initially worried that it wasn’t near grocery stores or transportation, but I was wrong. Quick walk up the hill to restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Quick walk down the hill to the ferry that can take you anywhere you want to go. What a beautiful modern home, with everything you could need. Marika was amazing to work with and we loved our stay. We were a group of seven, three couples and one single. This home was absolutely perfect!! When we arrived everyone could not believe what a beautiful home we had found. This home has four bedrooms two with King beds and two with Queens. Everyone was very pleased with their room. There are two living areas and kitchens. Great outdoor space with a pool, located on the harbor. The home was well stocked with spices, paper products and other necessities. The host left us a bottle of champagne. Such a nice surprise!! There were plenty of towels, both for the beach and bath. Also plenty of bedding. The location is great. A quick walk to the Balmain ferry station. Then, a quick ferry ride to either Circular Quay or Barangaroo. Also the Balmain East area offers many restaurants, pubs and cute shops to explore. Don’t hesitate to rent this home. You will love it!! I will say there are quite a few stairs if you have mobility issues. We are all active 60 something’s and had no issues. ##### Dana L. The home has a beautiful view, and is very close to the ferry wharf. The area is quiet and feels very safe. We found the beds to be comfortable.
