I recently stayed at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is perfect — right in the heart of Sydney CBD, just a short walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House, and many great restaurants and shops.
The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile and offering help whenever needed. The room was elegant, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a five-star hotel. I especially loved the bed — super soft and perfect after a long day exploring the city.
I’d definitely stay here again !!!
Nice, clean accommodation in a good location. Close to transport and amenities. Courteous and obliging staff. Although a little expensive, we would stay again.
If you are looking for a conveniently located hotel, it’s decent. Room was very bare and basic. In the bathroom there was no shower enclosure so each time the shower is in, the entire bathroom floor gets drenched.
Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Clean, appealing, beautiful surroundings. Parking was easy and convenient.
Would definitely stay again!

The hotel In general is okay, reception small desks, I was expecting more for the price, not spa, no steam
Room, or swimming pool, the rooms are extremely small specially when traveling 3 adults and two double beds, everything is very tight and not enough space to put luggage’s and stuff, the bathroom is old and small, the plastic mat for shower dirty and dark under because of the use. The bar was closed on Saturday night after 9pm. The hotel is close 5 min walk
To botanical garden and 15 min walk to circular quay.
The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choices. Lastime stayed at Fullerton hotel and that hotel was awesome. Will consider staying at Sofitel Wentworth next time.
I was very happy with my stay at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. I had an issue with my first room and when I brought it to Guest Relations management’s attention, I was helped quickly and was moved to a different room with kindness and compassion. I very much appreciated that.
My room was beautiful and was very comfortable. I had room service and while the menu is a tad on the expensive side, there was a great variety of food and drinks. I checked in on a day that was 37°C and it was wonderful going into a room that was well air conditioned.
The staff I interacted at all stages of my stay were kind, friendly and a joy to be around.
It was great that the metro station was only a few minutes away which made it easier to get around the city.
