Air con did not work sufficiently, tv did not work and were moved to an alternate room. Bed and pillows were stiff and not feel luxurious. Parking is no longer an option at the property and when we called the staff only offered the hospital car park as an alternate. Room smelt like cigarettes. Very sad because our last stay was wonderful. I had an excellent stay at Oxford House last weekend. The rooms, although small, are very thoughtfully laid out. I booked the smallest room, which was fine for 1 person or a couple, but opt for a larger room if a couple of friends are sharing. My room was located at the back of the hotel away from the main road and away from the pool. Although I could hear some people in the hallway before I went to bed and after I woke up, it was quite quiet. The pool was lovely, and I used this a couple of times during my stay. Easily getting a spot both times. The pool bar was busy both times as had great atmosphere. Especially on the Sunday during the bottomless lunch when there was a DJ. Overall, very happy with my stay here.
