The steep streets of Millers Point are lined with 19th-century style architecture and quaint terrace housing. There is plenty to explore like Barangaroo Reserve, a popular picnic destination and The Sydney Observatory – renowned as one of the most significant sites in Australia’s scientific history. Peruse the casual pubs in the Rocks District, including Australia’s oldest pub brewery, the Lord Nelson Brewery and The Hero of Waterloo which has been in operation since colonial times. Welcome to our unique abode nestled in the vibrant heart of Millers Point. This home is not just a space; it's a testament to creativity and identity, providing a haven for up to 5 guests. Your stay includes fresh towels. For your convenience, The Miller’s on Kent provides a washing machine to cater to your laundry needs. Please note that our home strictly enforces a NO PARTY policy. We do not accept Bucks or Bachelor parties without prior approval. While The Miller’s on Kent is an excellent choice for families and groups attending weddings or reunions in Sydney, it is not suitable for events like a Bucks weekend. HOUSE RULES \* Check-in: After 3:00 pm \* Checkout: 10:00 am \* No smoking \* No parties or events \* No pets allowed ADDITIONAL RULES \*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes. \*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay. \*This strictly is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is FIVE people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to TWO people. No more than a maximum of SEVEN people are allowed in the property at any given time. \*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. \*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the home, we could issue a $500 fine. \*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm. \*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. It is a quaint old cottage well presented but with a bit of a musty smell! The stairs to access all bedrooms are very steep and narrow so if you have mobility issues you should reconsider staying here. Accessibility within the property can be a challenge. The outdoor balcony with views is at the third level and through a bedroom so not that convenient. We had a plumbing issue that was not resolved before we left - shower and toilet both leaked. It would have been nice if some long life milk was provided. In summary the property is quaint and in a good location but accessibility to bedrooms is difficult and should be noted in advertising for the property.
