There is comfortable seating for seven or more, with a TV. The room opens into the dining room, with seating for 8. Along the hall, there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The side light well keeps the property sunny and bright. At the rear of the house is a stunning, eat-in kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and full laundry (iron, ironing board, washing machine and dryer). Doors open to the decked courtyard and BBQ. The garage is located at the back of the garden. Stairs lead from the hallway up to the next level. Straight ahead is a king bedroom, with air-con, built-in wardrobes, a large balcony and an ensuite bathroom. There is a step into the bath and shower. The second bedroom has air-con, a built-in wardrobe and a separate toilet on the same level. Narrow and steep stairs lead up to the third bedroom. This room has a hanging bar for clothing and air conditioning. Internet access is included free of charge (fair use policy applies). Linen is provided and essential items including some cleaning products, soap and toilet paper... The guests' responsibility is to purchase their supplies once they have run out. Please bring your beach towels. Strictly no pets. Parking is available in the garage for a small car. A longer car may fit if the roller door is kept open. The glass doors that separate the garage from the garden do not lock, so you need to ensure the kitchen door is kept locked when the roller door is open. There are two hour, free of charge, car parks on the street and some untimed spaces around the area. House has interior and exterior stairs and does not have wheelchair access. This property is strictly non-smoking. Bedding is K, Q, Q (all with air conditioning) and this property is set up for a maximum of 6 persons (including children). WiFi is not guaranteed. This is a service offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge for this service, we will attempt to fix issues as they arise but cannot be held accountable. Please note that this is a 100-year-old terrace property with wear and tear and some paint damage in places. The house is always clean and is a beautiful family home. We could walk to a train or bus stop within a few minutes. There were restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance also. The home itself was nice for my husband and me, plus our adult children. The third bedroom was a loft on the top floor, and my youngest son stayed there. The staircase to that loft was somewhat steep and narrow, as others have mentioned, but it was fine for him. One thing that was different for us was the half bathroom - the water only turned on in the sink when the toilet flushed, which seems to be a clever way to use the water to fill the toilet, but also meant you couldn't use just the water for other purposes. Though the house is older, it is well maintained and kept up beautifully. The host communicated well and responded quickly. Overall, an excellent experience. ##### Jeri C. Helpful to have a car spot in this area although it was very tight and required some careful maneuvering. We liked the kitchen which was supplied well with cutlery, crockery and accessories. Overall the house felt a bit musty, particularly the sofas and bedding, despite there being quite a long and stern list of house rules (including requiring guests to vacuum the house prior to departure!). We were informed towards the end of our stay that the modem was ‘on backup mode’ and had been for some time - which explained why the wifi was painfully slow. It would have been appreciated if we were told this upfront so that we arrange another method of internet access (we were travelling internationally and were relying on accommodation with wifi). The loft bedroom has a low ceiling and is accessed by a steep and narrow staircase, so probably not appropriate for young children, older people or people with mobility issues. ##### Eva L.
